Nikita Merzlyakov is sound engineer and musician with over 20 years of experience. He is founder, designer and builder of Alchematory Studio and often gets excited about various projects. This time it was recording and programming sample libraries of high quality and usability.
Alisa Paul is musician and sound engineer, founder of drum blog A.D.rum. As a drummer with experience not only with drum set but also as drumline player she clearly knows how to play all sorts of piano and forte dynamics. That’s why produced sound is the same within a velocity layer. And there is no need in artificial sample normalization. With the utmost care and attention to detail, Alisa proposed and performed all the articulations and layers. All this led to creation of truly realistic and high-quality sample libraries.
